Terms of use

These terms apply to the PerpyX app, the website perpyx.com and the optional PerpyX account (together “PerpyX”). PerpyX is provided by Roman Spacek, Czech Republic (“we”, “us”). Contact: hello@perpyx.com. By using PerpyX you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

1. What PerpyX is — and what it is not

• PerpyX is a monitoring tool. It displays data from your own Bybit account (using an API key you create) and public market data.
• PerpyX never places, changes or cancels orders and never moves funds.
• PerpyX is not financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Charts, indicators, categories, alarms and any other information are for your information only. Every trading decision is yours alone.
• PerpyX is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Bybit. Your use of Bybit is governed by Bybit's own terms.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 18 years old and allowed to use Bybit and trade derivatives where you live. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you.

3. Free beta

PerpyX is currently in a free beta. Features may change, be added or removed, and the service may be interrupted or ended at any time. There is no guaranteed availability or support. We'll try to announce major changes in advance by email or in the app.

4. Your API key

• Use only a read-only Bybit API key. PerpyX checks the key's permissions and refuses keys that can trade or withdraw. Never enable withdrawal permissions for any key you use with PerpyX.
• The key is stored only on your device and is never sent to us. Keeping your device secure (screen lock, updates) is your responsibility. If you think your key has been exposed, delete it on Bybit immediately.

5. Data and alarms are provided “as is”

Data shown in PerpyX comes from Bybit and other third parties and may be delayed, incomplete or wrong. Calculations (for example PnL, funding, distances to stop-loss or liquidation) are estimates. Price alarms are informational: they may be delayed or not delivered at all — for example when your phone is asleep, offline, in battery-saving mode or the app is closed. Always check important information directly on Bybit and never rely on PerpyX alone to manage risk.

6. PerpyX account

• The account is optional during the beta. You need access to the email address you sign in with. One account is for one person.
• You can delete your account and its backups at any time in the app.
• We may suspend or delete an account that is used to abuse or attack the service, or that has been unused for a long time as described in the privacy policy.

7. Acceptable use

Don't misuse PerpyX: don't try to disrupt or overload our servers, get around security or rate limits, access other people's accounts or data, create accounts automatically, or use PerpyX for anything unlawful.

8. Intellectual property

The PerpyX name, logo, app and website belong to us. You may use PerpyX for your own personal purposes; you may not resell it or present it as your own. Third-party components (for example the chart library) are used under their own open-source licences.

9. Liability

PerpyX is provided free of charge and “as is”, without any warranty. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any trading losses, lost profits or other indirect damage, or for damage caused by inaccurate, delayed or missing data or alarms, outages of PerpyX, Bybit or other services, or loss of data stored on your device.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law — in particular for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

10. Paid plans

PerpyX is free during the beta. If we introduce paid plans, their price and terms will be shown to you before you pay, and nothing will be charged without your explicit consent.

11. Ending

You can stop using PerpyX at any time. We may end the service or your access to it; if we end the service for everyone, we'll tell account holders in advance where possible, so you can save your data (Settings → Backup).

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version and date are shown at the top. For important changes we'll notify account holders by email or in the app before they take effect. If you keep using PerpyX after that, the new terms apply.

13. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts there.
